Definitely one of the better Sichuan restaurants in the area. Portions are great, lots of indoor seating, and cool memorabilia posted on the walls of famous people who stopped by. When I think of Sichuan food I think of mouth numbing spice and Spiceup truly delivers on that.

This place is amazing!!! We got the homemade pork dumplings in hot chili sauce, Orange Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. It was just the 2 of us and we had plenty. It was so good. The owner, David was the Nicest guy ever. He used to be an actor and a bartender. He made us Mojitos that were so great and refreshing. Will definitely go back!

Food was excellent and had the Szechuan kick. Ambience is a little sad and the AC does not work

Pretty good Sichuan food. Stumbled across this with my boyfriend on a Monday night when we were initially planning on going to the Korean place next door, but it ended up being closed due to the heat wave. We checked out the menu posted outside and decided to give it a try. We were able to be seated immediately and were served quite quickly. We ordered the mapo tofu, the Chengdu cold noodle, and hot and sour soup (individual portion). The mapo tofu was quite good and spiced well, but not enough pork in our opinion. Just the right amount of numbing spice to make the dish enjoyable and still let the other flavors shine! The Chengdu cold noodle was really yummy and came with cucumber, perfect for a hot day. The hot and sour soup was for me, it was delicious but too salty in my opinion. It was a good consistency and they did not skimp on the toppings (tofu/bamboo shoots). Nothing was too spicy for us with the right amount of ice water, it baffles me that people leave one star reviews for a small business because they can't handle spicy food from a restaurant for a province known for its spicy flavors. Service is good, they're attentive and give you what you need (refills on water/extra chopsticks/spoons) quickly without needing to ask again. Enjoyable and at a reasonable price (around $30 for everything listed pre-tip).
